For those whose appetite and interest for our old friend Vince "Audio" Broomfield was rekindled by the release of his "New Beginnings" LP collection of cuts from the vault last year should DEFINITELY check out the forthcoming NEW RECORDING "Won't Somebody" due for release on Soul Junction, date TBC.

A mid-tempo modern soul dance delight with the trademark Audio sax break........this is quality!!

Well done Soul Junction!

Great to see quality Soul releases like this still being made well into the new millenium.

"Wont Somebody" will without doubt make a big impact at some of the upcoming weekenders as well as Modern venues throughout the country.

I have to say that the flip "The Answers No" with it`s 80`s groove has grown on me considerably since the first play and now shares equal turntable time with "Wont Somebody" .

For lovers of new and recent Soul Music this comes recommended. 2 quality sides , and on a 45 !!

Gotta say won`t somebody is very nice, think this is suited for radio.

If you like 80`s style synth, your like the flip.Think the Frenchies will go for this side,it`s right for what they like.

Hats off to the Soul Junction chaps.

Audio (featuring Vince Broomfield)

"Won't Somebody / The Answer's No" SJ515

Release Date 16th April 2012

Audio returns! And riding high, on the back of the success of his 2011, "New Beginnings" album. Although the above mentioned album was compiled from entirely unissued material from the 1980's, this time around Vince Broomfield following on from his involvement with the respected Cool Millions project. Has presented us at Soul Junction with a brand new 2012 recording entitled "Won't Somebody".Soul Junction feel that this song is the best thing that Vince has recorded (to date) and have very high hopes of this becoming a future anthem.

The flipside is another previously unissued track from the 80's sessions which we unfortunately didn't have room to include on the album.

For further information please contact John Anderson or Dave Welding

Quite interesting to read the difference between the post on EMS where they are all wanting a download & on here where the vinyl format rules the roost.

Either way an essential purchase.

I missed this thread originally but picked up a copy of this great new 45 on Saturday night after Steve Plumb kindly recommended it to me...Was a "blind buy", so to speak, but sometimes they're the best I think and good fun if you then have to wait a bit to play it.

More please!

Steve
