just been listening to an old very low fi cassette of the stolen ? motown tapes, are any of the following tracks available on any motown cd's and are these the correct artists, any help much appreciated

marvelettes - boy from cross town

kim weston - any girl in love

gladys knight - its too late

kim weston - absent minded lover

the stranger no artist credited on tracklisting, but definatly not the released gladys knight version

vandellas - spellbound

I think all had an official release Trev. I can double check later as got I most for the Stafford Story podcasts. I'll have to listen and check up on The Stranger though.

All the Marvelettes should be on the two Anthology album releases.

Boy From Crosstown definately had an official release, not sure if same mix though...Itwas the Marvelettes version at Stafford as well.

it was on Sophisticated Soul, info in post three.

I didn't understand the post Chalky, it lists artists, recordings and master numbers but doesn't actually mention The Stranger...
