Premium Stuff Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Guessing that Stateside was the original and the PYE later - a 70s release I think? Cheers Richard
pikeys dog Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Pye copy every time - the only official way to get the fantastic "going back to Detroit" on 45. 1
Jim G Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 I had it on pye years ago ( bought in Bishop Auckland records shop that had tons fo stuff) sold it on stateside in 2011 now have it on Musicor. The Yank Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 (edited) If you've got it on Musicor #1275, the flip side is "Sonata". It was reissued on Musicor #1443 with "Be My Love" as the B side. Edited February 26, 2012 by the yank

45cellar Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 As the PYE International copy is the only way to obtain "GOING BACK TO DETROIT" on a 45 I would struggle to let it go. As already mentioned the other copies have "SONATA" or "BE MY LOVE"
