$75-$125 for ex or better give or take..one question I have is where was the group from?

I remember someone saying they knew the names of the singers once.

Anyway this might be of interest.....

found the above some time ago on the Soul Detective (Red Kelly) website.

now I just have to find one!!!!!

I have a photo somewhere, would have to find it and scan it. I think the group is from NYC.

Does Kevin Knox have somethng to do with the Knox label, Paul Sindab?

I seem to remember reading that Jobettes' record was from Indiana (but it wasn't listed on The Indiana Soul website. Kevin Knox was a Canadian entertainer. His company (with Ltd. in the title), must have been a Canadian company. But the record was a US pressing.

I remember finding some info a while back that they were from NYC but unfortunately I can't find the source of that info now.

The scan says everything with kevin Knox Ent indicates New York so would assume th group from there as well. Would assume it is the NY Jobette Office taking the action against Knox?

Above is the link to the page, it is about a single "No Explanation" by Tommy Young (Tommie Young), I've not listened yet but wondered if same record. There are a few references to Paul Kirk and the Kevin Knox company and to Kevin Knox.

I bought about 5 copies of this off a guy on ebay a few years back.

Usual story, couldn't sell them, punted them out at £25 apiece.

And now...

I think the sweet soul side is what someone should push now in a general soul forum like ebay or facebook. it's a great track and there's lots of sweet soul collectors.

Great tune.. Bought mine 20 years ago.. Only paid £3 quid.. Got mates rates on it though...
