Hi

I've got a friend researching for an article about Joe E Young & The Toniks who had a couple of 45 releases & LP on UK Toast.Been down the usual google channels & found a few bits & bobs but nothing that substantial. So I was hoping that some on here may be able to help in some way?Any info would be most appreciated, thanks.

Cheers

Martyn

HI,

DIDN'T HE TAKE OVER FROM CLEM CURTIS AS LEAD SINGER IN THE FOUNDATIONS IN THE LATE 60s ??.

THINK THEY WERE A BIT LIKE JIMMY JAMES / GINO WASHINGTON / MIKE COTTON SOUND ETC, IN THE 60s UP AND DOWN ALL OVER THE PLACE WHEN SOUL MUSIC WAS AT IT'S MOST POPULAR,

JOE,

Yes he was lead with the Foundations, not sure whether it was before CC or after? His real name was Chris Young.

Info seems a bit thin on the ground?
