Guest Nick Harrison Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 What's the current "SP" on this now a days. A side - Bit Off More Than I Could Chew featuring Andy Long...........book lists £300.00 uk pounds and also mis - terms this as a "Northern" record . B side which is entitled "Blossom Of Love" listed and sold for 28 USD also some years earlier. Anyone ?
Eddie Hubbard Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 It's Andrew Love , out of The Memphis Horns Nick .....got one myself , new release in the 80's ..seems quite rare now ..cheers Eddie
Steve G Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Yes it's one I got as a new release from the Bowl (and then cracked). Think it was about £8 at the time which implied quantity was limited. Incidentally I got my second (replacement) copy some years later that is also now cracked......Old spin for SouL Sam etc.
Roburt Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 You can hear the track & see a scan of the 45's label here ......... https://souldennis.blogspot.com/2011/05/willie-toliver-bit-off-more-than-i.html

Hey up Mr Fenn, hope one is keeping well. Purchased my second copy off you which I never knew had come via the Family Records ex artist Mr Randle. Looking to off load certain items, which included a copy of WT and was in search of a decent, if accurate valuation. Thanks.
Arthur Fenn Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 You know Nick i think WT is a real hard 45, i've never seen one on ebay & there are certain titles like this, that after the first find remain rare, wish i had that old 25 count box now , might have had a very nice holiday out of it , Oh! & Hi to you 2
