Theothertosspot
Too many to mention as I (like you) love em all, however, three at the moment would be, not in any particular order: Candi Staton - Now You Got The Upper Hand Ila Vann - You Made Me This Way Archie Bell & Drells - Here I Go Again Agree with Dave2 with Mighty Marvellos, as good as the Nomads or Soul Set but at an affordable price. Geoff
Like most on here there are too many really, also depends on how I'm feeling. But Joseph Webster's My Love Is Strong and the Poets' Wrapped Around Your Finger get me straight on to the floor, no doubt Sam's sick of me asking him to play them. Also Butch's Martha Jean Love cover ups That's The Way The Story Goes and Old Time Lover, just wonderful, love dancing to them. In fact if I get to Lifeline on Saturday will ask him to play one of them if he's got them with him. Link to comment Social source share

Theothertosspot
"WE GOT TO KEEP ON" CASANOVA TWO EARLY BIRD What a great tune, not heard it in years, got a copy as well. Was covered up originally, was it Casanova Twins? Also like the original version (I think) by Fred Hughes, don't know the label though. Guest manusf3a
One of these threads that just as you write down some titles many more come storming through, theres so many, for this moment in time though, Frank beverly If thats what you wanted, Hear this intro Im off see you later lads and Im gone heading to the dancefloor. The Impressions Youve been cheating, again that instrumental intro with the magic vocal kicking in ,irresistable brain to body, drop everthing get on that floor. Danny Wagner I lost a true love ,that blasting intro the stimulus dance, dance dance my response. The incredibles theres nothing else to say, thats right there isnt! Velvet satins Nothing can compare ,theyre right it cant! Major Lance You dont want me no more!, yes I do right from the intro screaming out and into the core of my soul I do want to hear it as it compels me to dance . Youll never get me to be able to answer a question like this as intended because like nearly everyone else posting there is and always has and will be more than plenty of those special sounds ,the choice is rich in quality and depth for us to choose from ,memories enriched beyond compare with many non scene folk because of those sounds.Sorry Shazzc I cant narrow it down to one,I only have to look down the list of those posting on this thread to think,oh yeh cracker that one oh yeah and this one etc, nice one I love her version, like that form there first heard that here remember this ,that..etc. Edited September 9, 2012 by manusf3a Link to comment Social source share
