Tony A Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Got spins at Wigan in 79-80 ish from memory GGIML that is. I think it was even booted. Blimey not heard this in years, remember GGIML getting played can't think where though,
Andy Rix Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 (edited) Yes GGIML did get some play circa 78-79, can't remember exactly when, and was booted Which other Baby Dolls 45 are you referring to Ady ? .... the one on Boom ? ... which is reported to feature La La Brooks on lead vocal ? I recall hearing that for the first time when I was 13 so it pre-dates the Hollywood 45 being played out ... I'm pretty sure they must be different groups. The Boom 45 was co-written by Mike Lewis who also did stuff with Roddie Joy &; Vickie Baines Andy Edited February 14, 2012 by Andy Rix
Steve G Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Played by none other than Richard Searling at Wigan - GTGYIML that is......I bought a copy on the strength of his plays

Ady Croasdell Posted February 15, 2012 Author Posted February 15, 2012 Please no more! awful both sides, always has been.aaaarrgh!!! But we've just learned that the flip was unissued on the bootleg and therefore rare collectible and beautiful. Put your girly group ears on Tone and re-listen it's got some nice bits in it.
