Same seller do you know?

Regards,

Dave

Definitely not the same seller, I remember the other auction as the person had a story about owning a record store and not wanting to sell but needs for store made it necessary. This seller (Sprydiddle) often seems to have things in mint. Definitely a warehouse I'd like to be given a shopping spree in

why are issues like this and holly st james and geraldine hunt so rare ??

There are many many reasons why these issues are rare and have been discussed in the rare demo or rare issues threads. Contract or distribution problems, artists dying or leaving the group. A lot of southern soul records suffered from terrible promotion and distribution issues.

Sebastian is correct. That sleeve was only in use until the very early 60s. Anyone got any ideas where this might have been pressed?

another reason not mentioned is that if a record isn't a hit on the radio, they're not going to waste their money pressing stock copies to send to stores

Only a thought Bob , was'nt that the reason they made and distributed promos/demos ?

To go to the length of making issues ..usually meant there was a demand for the issue copy to justify production ??
