Hi Paul, I have always heard that "This Feeling I have" by Jimmy Gresham is one of them. My name is Carla I am with the Free Jimmy Gresham Foundation. He's been in the slammer for 13 years, we are trying to get him out. I would also like to ask a favor of you, if you have anymore Jimmy Gresham tunes. We'te trying to collect them up for his site. Thanks Paul Carla

Paul, i know and like you, but you state you have over 6000 tracks on mp3, can't you make an informed decision based upon your own taste for any compilation you wish to make ? Why do you seem to need someone else's "Favourites" to justify your selection, this smacks of the age old DJ problem of pleasing the floor (in some cases a floor that has only ever heard 40 tunes...yet this scenario has to my ears over the years dictated the playlist of many a dj).......Like what you like mate, and live and die by that ethos......if someone else doesn't like it then tough..i'm certain they will find another tune that they like.......... Brett
Guest rachel Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 You could always have a look through some of the playlists in the Weekend's Playlists thread and see if you've got any of them... won't all be 'rare' but there's a fair mixture of stuff in there

It would be like asking you to do me a compilation which I can then listen to in the car Im not after being brainwashed into a wiganite just curious to hear some recommended tunes off soul fans.

Paul, A good way to listen to what other souklies are listening to is to join the numerous CD swap clubs. Get your Dad to show you round the Hitsvil site and then join the Yahoo Group List. We're preparing a list of CD swappers for Christmas. Pretty sure we'll come up with a lot of good stuff between us. Regards, Dave https://www.hitsvillesoulclub.com PS - Soulies with iPods in BURNLEY?????!!!!!!!!! In my day laddie...........blah ......blah......blah........
