Tubbs Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 (edited) label looks typed to me not printed also never seen the josie logo in red before so is it a test press Edited February 4, 2012 by tubbs
boba Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 label looks typed to me not printed also never seen the josie logo in red before so is it a test press the resolution on your pic is like 4dpi so I can't see it closely. It could be a jamaican press or it could be a test press, I might have a more specific opinion if I could read it. Thanks.

boba Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 just bought it from a jamaican dealer so it's probably a jamaican press then, he had it listed as a US copy sorry that happened. A lot of jamaican presses of soul are crude reproductions of the original label, or even put onto another label (sometimes related, sometimes not), and with a catalog number that doesn't have anything to do with the real catalog. At least it's not an expensive record.
Tubbs Posted February 4, 2012 Author Posted February 4, 2012 does have the same cat no as the us copy but very much doubt there is an official josie label in jamaica
