Pete S Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 This record really reminds me of "You Succeeded" by Sandra Phillips in parts.
Benji Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 This record really reminds me of "You Succeeded" by Sandra Phillips in parts. Seconded. Anyone knows where it was recorded?
Pete S Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 It's a strange one that because up until the break in the middle, it's one of the most uplifting Northern dancers I've heard in a long time, but after the break it seems to kind of lose it's way a bit.
Benji Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Really? I think it's fantastic, gets better and better with each play.
Prophonics 2029 Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 (edited) Great out on a big PA. Edited February 3, 2012 by Prophonics 2029
Steve Plumb Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Classic 60's dancer and glad it's finally getting a vinyl release Has been hammered on't radio over the last year (Solar's 'Soul People' and 'A Taste Of Soul' etc) but a 45 will see this go huge on the Northern Scene methinks? Snowboy was so enamoured by it, he played it twice in the one show early last year! btw I'll be playing it again on Sunday at 8pm on Solar when i stand in on 'A taste of soul' Cheers Steve
