All copies I know of have a flat edge w/ 12 05 42 AZ in the trail off.

In a couple of hours, Im looking at 2 copies that are beveled, haven't confirmed the trail off markings yet. Weird.

Apple and Three Oranges "Moonlight"/ "Curse upon the world" has the beveled edge.

Anyone seen both Nelson pressings or have any insight?

I've only seen the beveled edge of the ed nelson, the copies that came from that Japan stock. I can't imagine it was booted, the stock was sitting there for nothing in japan because nobody wanted it.

I bought one of them today. It looks and feels original.

It could have been pressed twice, like after they ran out of the flat edged one they used a different plant or the plant changed how they did their pressing. Either way, that constitutes an original to me -- with most other records that are "original" they might have been the second or even 5th or 10th run and there's no way to tell.
