Guest 45s and 33s Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Who's set is this? Sorry, should have said it was my set (ali duff) from the East Neuk in sunny Aberdeen. It was good to meet up with Mikey Copeland and Acky again. Musically, it was a very good night (well apart from the 8.40 spot), however, it took a good while for the punters to get onto the dancefloor. Set of the night IMO belonged to Des - Ralph Graham, Tony Clarke, Cleveland Robinson, etc. Not sure when the next date is, also I think the promoters are possibly moving to another venue in the city.
Guest 45s and 33s Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 is that you ali ? Davie Alright Davie. Shame you couldn't make it through to Souler Power on Saturday as Ronnie and Butch from Dundee played an amazing (and marathon) set. The Macmerry alldayer on Sunday was great too, highly recommended, and it looks like it could be a regular fixture on the Scottish soul calendar. Ali
