ANYONE ON HERE EVER GO TO CHILTONS? IT WAS IN THE LIBERAL CLUB SEYMOUR ROAD, CRUMPSALL. ME & MY SISTER ANGELA USED TO GO REGULARLY IN 1969-71 (IF MY MEMORY SERVES ME WELL)! LOT OF MOTOWN PLAYED, BUT A FEW NORTHERN TRACKS ALSO,WE WERE TO YOUNG TO DRINK THEN, BUT WE HAD SOME GREAT TIMES THERE! I KNOW A FEW FROM ST BERNADETTES USED TO GO THERE, JUST WONDERED IF ANYONE ELSE ON THE SCENE WENT

i went to chiltons when i was 14, that would be 1970, it was a dance school if i remember right, we all lived down the rd in blackley, we used to get a beer in a pub round the back, think it was called the sun, yes loads of motown played , though the only type of northern i remember would be , johnny johnson and frankie valli type of thing, also reggae. just remembered the owners name ..ted chilton.

TED! thats right, its all coming back to me now! I do remember a friend of my sisters then boyfriend, a lad called "Barney",

who I went out with a few times, he was from Lower Broughton. I found out a few years later he was Bernard Sumner from
