boba Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Googled my #1 favorite Sivilles - Falling in like and the only hit was this Soul-Source page, just goes to prove how rare your tunes are Regards M Actually you would really like the sivilles probably because the a-side is a boogie cut (still with nice harmony though). I think someone has it buy-it-now on ebay for like $450 which is a fair price, it's gone for over $700. I have to look at the record again to check, it's either 1981 or 1983. I actually ended up buying the record twice. the first time it was sent in a bubble mailer inside another bubble mailer with no cardboard. Of course it arrived cracked. I emailed the seller and he said to send it back. As I was packing it I noticed that the return address was the producer of the record. I started bugging him (even leaving voicemails) trying to get a replacement copy and he said he didn't currently have any and refunded my money. The one I just got was auctioned by him again a few months later. It definitely was like a stray copy and not stock from a box as it wasn't that clean. The guy was super nice (apparently he sang in the group also) and gave me the lineup for soul harmony singles. Maybe he has another copy or maybe you should snatch the $450 copy, either way, it's a hard and generally unknown record.

boba Posted January 17, 2012 Author Posted January 17, 2012 My Children + Two - Magic Words - Magic Blackblood - Oh how I love you - Blackblood Soulistics - Cotton Eyed Jo - Liberation Love Foundation - Don't cry - Foundation Ltd These 4 Bob...wow! They seem pretty obscure though? yeah all very rare. the my children + two record is the first kool and together 45. I think it's also on the heavy light reissue. The blackblood is very rare, I traded an expensive funk record to get it from my friend who got a trashed copy from the group. The soulistics is a known funk record on the a-side, but I love their version of cotton eyed joe, it's so good. The love foundation I never even heard of until recently. The flip is a killer psychedelic funk thing too.
