Guest Big Jim Slade Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 (edited) Looking for the following 45s. I can't afford them all but I'm offering the amounts listed below if you've got any of these for sale. As usual for me, they don't have to be mint but they've got to be good enough for DJing. No styrene issues please, I'm only interested in vinyl copies as my DJ style lends itself to cueburn. Kind regards, Big Jim Slade The Burning Desire on Charisma, Why She Had to Go: offering up to $800 for a clean copy as this is my top want. James Reese and the Progressions on Najma, Let's Go It's Summertime: offering $540 as this was my reasonable bid on the recent eBay auction The House Guests, I'm So Glad My Mind Set Me Free: offering $220 for a clean copy. King Tutt on Fun City, You've Got Me Hung Up: offering $350 for a clean copy. Roy Porter on Chelan, Panama: offering $450 Barbara Mason on Arctic, You Better Stop It: offering $250 for a solid copy. Beau Dollar on King, Who Knows: offering $80 for a clean copy Disc and That (45 or 12inch) on Wilkerr, Space Walk: offering $70 The Vibrettes on Lujon, the Humpty Dump: offering $135 for a solid copy Curtis Mayfield on Curtom, Move On Up: offering $75 for a vinyl copy Edited January 24, 2012 by Big Jim Slade
Guest Big Jim Slade Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Replied to PM. Sorted on the Beau Dollar, King Tutt, and Vibrettes. Still got plenty to spend on the others. Thanks again, Big Jim Slade
boba Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Replied to PM. Sorted on the Beau Dollar, King Tutt, and Vibrettes. can't believe no one has offered you the burning desire at $800, do people actually think it's worth more?
Guest Big Jim Slade Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I've posted a want for that Burning Desire record 4 or 5 times here and to no avail. I think $800 is fair given that it sells for $600 on ebay but what can you do when nobody wants to give it up. Big Jim Slade
