Odd one this, I am just about to list THE LARKS - MICKEY'S EAST COAST JERK - MONEY 110 DEMO.

The B side is an instrumental called THE SLAUSON SHUFFLE.

However in the last price guide, it only refers to a release with the B sie being SOUL JERK.

ON JM's website he has Soul Jerk / Mickeys East Coast Jerk.

So are there two versions of this release?

Yes, two variations of MONEY 110.

"Slauson Shuffle" is only on the demos as far as I know.

The issue/stock copy has got "Soul Jerk" instead on the b-side.

Pretty sure mine is a Slauson Shuffle B-side but not a demo. I'd have to check that when I get home at the weekend.

The second 110 entry must be wrong though Bob, as it should be Mickeys / Soul Jerk, not Slauson / Soul jerk?

The ones in bold above doesn't exist though, or am I wrong?

It should be:

110 Mickey's East Coast Jerk / The Slauson Shuffle (inst.) (1/65) DEMO

110 Mickey's East Coast Jerk / Soul Jerk (1/65) ISSUE

109 is:

109 - Eric Williams - Goodbye My Love / I'll Give My Love To You

OK Toad and Boba, I might have been wrong there. Have personally only taken notice of "Slauson Shuffle" being on the demo. Note to self: must pay more attention! :)

ah black n white as opposed to the green n white 110 demo

Is there also a Green and White DEMO ?

Revisiting the thread as I now have the 2 Black & White DEMOs below.

Strange that both "B Sides" have the same Monarch Delta #55879-X.

They play different tracks as the Labels Suggest.

Indeed a bit strange that they have the same number.

But they don't have the exact same matrix:

MM-110-B DELTA #55879-X = SLAUSON SHUFFLE

MM-110-B-RE DELTA #55879-X = SOUL JERK

Looks like they changed their mind quickly and made a new stamper.

Yes, noticed the Matrix Sebastian. Must have been a late change as you say. "SOUL JERK" the later.

The A Side Label also has very slight differences the the Credits on "MICKEY'S EAST COAST JERK"

  • Notice the position of the Time 2:40 In relation to the Dist. by Malynn.

I wonder why there were two separate visits to the printers for the "A Side" ?

Either way, this difference should help anyone looking for their prefered "B Side"

If there's only the "A Side" DEMO Label scan featured in a Sale.

With similar "B Side" changes, the DELTA# also changed.
