Cunnie Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Know it's a dirty word on here to some but am looking for a couple of Disco items. First one is the Brazillian album New Love & Interstate 95. Second one is Ernie Johnson - Dreams To Remember/Disco Music Keep On Going On on Rowan Records. Know the Ernie Johnson is available on other labels but need it for the B side. PM me if you can help & I'll get back to you asap. Thanks for looking. Mart...
John Benson Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Sorry Martin, can't help you with either one, but just thought I'd point out that I'd say the Ernie Johnson side you want is the A side... judging from the big star on the label... Which would make 'Dreams...' the B side.
Cunnie Posted December 31, 2011 Author Posted December 31, 2011 Thanks for the info John. Just assumed that Dreams was the A side as it has been released a couple of times before but without Disco Music on the other side (on Ronn & also on Steph & Lee I believe). Still after both records folks.
Dave Fleming Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Just noticed a lot of difference on the label between John`s promo scan and my issue copy. here`s the scan of the issue. Dave f.... 2
Cunnie Posted January 4, 2012 Author Posted January 4, 2012 Thanks for the scan Dave. Also thought that Dreams To Remember was the A side of the issue so the info will help with searches etc. Still after both records if anyone can help please.
Guest sigher the gutter snype Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 is this the same ernie johnson as big man cry??
Mister Fish Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 is this the same ernie johnson as big man cry?? Yes! 'Dreams to remember' came out on Steph & Lee also..
Cunnie Posted January 6, 2012 Author Posted January 6, 2012 Dreams To Remember also came out on Ronn so not hard to see how folks get confused with the Rowan copy. Still after this (on Rowan) & the New Love & Innerstate album mentioned in the first post if you can help.
Tsu Tomatoes Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Martin, you can always make do with the cheap version of New Love until this tough LP turns up. https://www.boogie-times.fr/english/disques/details.php?id_disque=14023 (for soundclip purposes) ps. I'll be in touch about that other track soon, as well!

I'll be in touch about that other track soon, as well! First time I have heard that version Neil. Quite nice too. Already got the New Love on the Red Greg remix album but want a proper un (you know how it is). That 'other track' is still tucked away for you mate & might have a few other similar 12" things up for grabs that need new homes.
