Guest Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 You've got to pay the price Love don't come so easy You've got to make every sacrifice You've got to pay the price (You've got to pay the price) 'Cause true love and devotion Will get something hard to find You may spending your life on trying But that's when you finally found Someone to build your life around When it's worth it to find a love that's true You'll must depend that you'll be through But you've got to pay the price Love don't come so easy You've got to make every sacrifice You've got to pay the price (You've got to pay the price) That means heartaches by the number Going from one boy to another Looking and finally you discover But true love means confusion It just might be an illusion There are days when you're feeling blue But lady luck smile on a heart that's true You've got to pay the price You've got to pay the price Ooh, ooh You've got to pay the price You've got to pay the price Love don't come so easy You've got to make every sacrifice You've got to pay the price (You've got to pay the price) While you're looking for affection Just beware, better pay some dues So here's some advice you can use Keep your eye in one direction Till you'll make the right connection Somehow, some way but then True love found a way for you again You've got to pay the price Love don't come so easy You've got to make every sacrifice You've got to pay the price (You've got to pay the price) Ooohn ooh.... Kris Holmes Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 (edited) I've only got it on the Cellarful of Motown 2 CD from a few years back, I think it was unreleased BITD (would like to be corrected though). You can get the instrumental on 45 or Gloria Taylor's vocal on 45, I think all 3 use the same backing track? Don't quote me on that though, I'm too lazy to pull out the 45s or CD liners or to go to youtube & check Edited December 24, 2011 by Kris Holmes
