vince ayres Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 yep! they're at it again, names this time are as follows gorbyn and sigrorom, seems to be just on the ska 45s i was selling last weekend. Has anyone yet worked why they do this and what on earth they stand to gain as it's beyond me. Anyway i thought it best to post this up so that other sellers can put them into their blocked bidders. vince
Benji Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Vince, same bloke behind both IDs: notorious fake bidder Carlos Espinoza from Mexico. Well known guy who's on a crusade to literally destroy as much ska and reggae auctions as possible. The list of his fake IDs is endless.

Pete S Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 No Vince he just changes his location at will, using almost correct UK addresses. Anyway he got his wish, the reggae ska section has been decimated for a year now and so many people don't sell on there anymore, it's gone from being a great source of 45's to a useless one. I won't sell on there because he ruins every one of my auctions, I won't bid on there because he bumps all the prices up on records I bid on, and unscrupulous sellers don't care. 1

trog Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 (edited) Bloody 'Ell Pete what kind of Richard Cranium would want to do such things!! A really ,really f***in sad one!...talk about too much time on your hands!...unbelievable. As already mentioned..what do these people get out of doing this? The mind boggles! vince ayres Posted December 23, 2011 Author Posted December 23, 2011 The bit i dont get is why on earth he chose to bid on only 2 of them when he could have bid say £500 on all of them and really hacked me off. None of it makes any sense, like was said previously aint he got nothing better to do, sad wan**r!
timthemod Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 (edited) I've also had two auctions ruined by this idiot during December! First one disappeared off ebay completely, no sign of it on my account this was after it finished! Second one luckily I was able to offer it to the second highest bidder. This guy is completely mad!! Sleeps45 Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 (edited) ebay is set up for the buyer..the sellers get screwed..sellers cannot leave negative feedback and buyers can leave all the negative they want..I auctioned off a 45 last month and it had about 6 bidders, the 45 sold for $67 bucks and the next day the buyer sends me email and flat out tells me that he is not paying for the record..so I replied back "why did you bid then" I have to wait 1 month for a fee reimbursment and the a-hole has the nerve to threaten me with negative feedback?? how the hell does that work??and how can a seller determine whether or not they're dealing with a solid source?
