Just tuned in Quotations playing , thanks for the info .

Almost forgot to tune in. Been listening since 8pm and it's been superb. Another DJ I'd recommend is Kev Laws ( another great Norwich DJ ) He does a show alternate Tuesday's on Future Radio. He's always had a great taste in soul music. First hour is northern followed by an hour of modern.

Right nobody laugh at this

Sacha Distel - Tomorrow Is Another Day - UK HMV

original version of Gene Stridel - and it's really good - honestly

can't believe how many UK releases I'm still finding out about, thought I knew the lot 20 years ago, I desperately need to loan Roy Gelder's notebooks, then I'd have "the knowledge"

JJ is a great label but look at the catalogue numbers, PYR and DB, I swear they just used the JJ labels when they ran out of Pyramid and Doctor Bird labels, Israelites and It mek both on Pyramid, People Funny Boy on Doctor Bird. Also things like Rise And Fall are on JJ but with DB number.

I keep coming back to this one to see which was the rarest. I've no idea, and would never have a clue.... but I am intrigued!! :g:

The rarest of Dave's scans? "Slot Machine" is the rarest reggae 45, but the Majamood record on Wirl is the rarest one pictured, it's a bizarre psychedelic record, no idea who it actually is or why it's on Wirl, think it's a UK group.

Cheers for that Pete! It was one of those itches that needed to be scratched
