Guest allnightandy Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 He is totally barkin mad he clogs up Ebay with popcorn and absolute junk he has another acetate which he advertises by Moses ? he puts it on for anything from £50,000,000 down to as low as £8,000,000 he claims it's the rarest record in the world , only trouble is it's a crappy instrumental and he has loads of copies he some times offers the whole contents of the shop for £50,000 he is totally screwed up he also does a strange line in framed oil painting (prints) all priced at many thousands of pounds each !
Guest allnightandy Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Anyone knows that back in the 70's there were people in the record rooms who dealt in just acetates they had boxes full of e'm you could choose two tracks for about £3 or 4 tracks for £5 they carried a list with all the titles on and you could pick your own one week and collect it the next so non of them are really worth anything
Tabs Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Big difference about what you are describing (emi discs) and genuine unissued acetates. Guest allnightandy Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 (edited) Big difference about what you are describing (emi discs) and genuine unissued acetates. That is an emidisc , not an unissued acetate ! https://www.ebay.com/...#ht_2694wt_1177 and this is the bootleg also from Belgium Edited December 15, 2011 by allnightandy

boba Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 although I regret contributing to the 9 billionth version of this thread, all of his ads are really ads for his store. You should report every item as listing practices -> gratuitous text.
Tabs Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I know. Just tried to make the distinction between emidisc and acetate that he described it as in his listing. That was why I used ''genuine' in my first reply. That is an emidisc , not an unissued acetate ! https://www.ebay.com/...#ht_2694wt_1177 and this is the bootleg also from Belgium https://www.popsike.c...30439197825.jpg
Pete S Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I know. Just tried to make the distinction between emidisc and acetate that he described it as in his listing. That was why I used ''genuine' in my first reply. And of course there are hundreds of genuine Emidisc acetates.
Tabs Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 You know what I meant Pete. Genuine unissued acetate as opposed to an emi. As in my first reply. And of course there are hundreds of genuine Emidisc acetates.
Guest Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 His returns policy stinks, when i pay 2k for a tune i expect them to be mint and if not i want me 2k back.
Pete S Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 You know what I meant Pete. Genuine unissued acetate as opposed to an emi. As in my first reply. I know I knew what you meant, I wasn't pointing out the fact to you, I was pointing it out to the other chap
Tabs Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Sorry Pete. Looks like we are all getting wires crossed on this thread. I know I knew what you meant, I wasn't pointing out the fact to you, I was pointing it out to the other chap
