Dave Moore Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) Hi All, I'm currently working on a comprehensive book documenting Philadelphia's contribution to the soul world. I'm including a chapter on overseas record collectors who have visited the city and scored vinyl hits off artists/writers/producers etc. If anyone has any good stories about any of the East Coast distributors, or Frank Virtue, Joe Tarsia, Billy Jackson, Weldon A McDougall III, Jimmy Bishop, Bobby Martin, Thom Bell, or any other artist/person/people that they think would be a good inclusion then could I ask you to contact me via PM or at hitsville2648@earthlink.net and I'll see if it can be included. I'm not really looking for tales of the time folks scored a couple of Arctic Demos from Val Shively type things, but more about the contact made with the people who made the music and distributed it from the source. Thanks in anticipation. Regards, Dave Edited December 13, 2011 by Dave Moore
