Hi All

I need the following numbers on Four Brothers to complete the set.

403 Edith Brown

404 Johnny little John

Can anyone confirm that they exist, as I have never seen them for sale. They are not on Popsike either. If they do exist, what are they like?

While I'm at it , can anyone confirm the existence of St Lawrence 1018 McKinley Mitchell - Boogaloo and chilli dog. Again It's on the Discography, but I've never seen one.

Many Thanks

Rob

The Edith Brown definitely exists but I think it was unissued. I say all that without ever having seen an actual copy yet myself. But I move in small circles . . . . due to being a peg-legged penguin. :D :D :D

Edith Brown definitely exists, been quite in demand the last few years so when one come up for sale it has usually been privately.

Is it an unissued number though chalky, or a Demo only, or is it a regular release that was perhaps withdrawn, hence the availabilty shortage?

Issued as far as I am aware, certainly not unissued. Used to be about bit more than it is now and not as expensive although it's always been kinda obscure.

If the Johnny Little John is anything like his other stuff it will be solid bluesy/soul/r&b stuff. I actually really like his stuff.

Edith Brown was on ebay a few years ago. It went super cheap, like $25. I wanted to bid as it was a Chicago record but the stupid prick seller had me blocked (for no reason related to ebay -- he was mad that I went to some of the same people to get records when he was in Chicago).

Roger Banks had the Edith Brown, and I believe a member on here made him an offer he couldn't refuse...

That is correct.

Roger Banks played this out for some years, Andy Dyson probably responsible for the recent interest and Ted bought one recently. Think Andy had a spare too which he sold?
