Scotters Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Always loved the vocal passion which belts through on this old one!
Guest six toe Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Always liked this duet with Maxine Brown on the Hayes/Porter classic.
Dean Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 This was a regular play at one time. I've still got time for it now:
Dean Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 (edited) Best soul Live act I've seen I think; This is a good listening album: I Can't Break Away I Only Get This Feeling Through All Times Put A Little Love Away Roller Coaster Maybe This Will Be The Morning Talk A Little Less Slowly But Surely If That's The Way You Want It Just A Little Tear If Only You Believe Edited November 27, 2011 by Dean
Kris Holmes Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 This is the first Chuck 45 I ever found, it was a New Zealand press on Scepter. I also remember a few years back coming across boxes of unplayed CJ 45s on Wand, so many titles, lots of ballads, but a bunch of good uptempo ones too. In amongst a pit of otherwise Country 45s Definitely beefed up my Chuck Jackson section in one day
Dean Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Think this might just about top favourite for me: And just for variety the Bowie LP with his bit naff version of I Keep Forgetttin' (Ziggy it aint!)
Dean Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 (edited) Again, this was once an expected sound to play: Edit, hopefully better pics. These Chains of Love. . . . and not forgetting Good things come to those who wait Edited November 29, 2011 by Dean
Sjclement Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 (edited) Aint no sun since you been gone from his Arrives Motown set Gotta be The Version Edited November 29, 2011 by sjclement
Guest Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 (edited) This was a regular play at one time. I've still got time for it now: Top tuneage indeed...I may still have a spare Japanese probe copy complete with nifty pic sleeve, in anyone is interested?
