Guest leeham987 Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Hi i have searched this topic but couldn't find anything, so i apologine if its been covered. As title says really. lI have 2 records that are the same, they look exactly identical, however one has machine pressed numbers in the middle of the record whilst the other seems to have been etched on by hand. is this a sign its a re-release or pressing. again apologise if its been covered.
Tony A Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 How many years have you got ? spare time that is.
Premium Stuff Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 What is the record? Sometimes there are different pressings and both machine stamped and scratched-in details are legit Cheers Richard
Ian Parker Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 believe me mate. i'm no expert , but i'd wager the one with the 'machine' pressed stamp is an original'legit copy, whilst the other is a bootleg

Pete S Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 T K O S - the charge confusing There's no reissue of The Charge but going by the amount of copies around, it could easily have been pressed in both styrene and vinyl, at different plants, so one could be scratched and the other stamped. It was never bootlegged or reissued in that format.
Ged Parker Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 believe me mate. i'm no expert , but i'd wager the one with the 'machine' pressed stamp is an original'legit copy, whilst the other is a bootleg A bit of a sweeping generalisation I think. 1
