Guest Nick Harrison Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I know Dooley has not been taken too like many soul artists we associate with our music in the past, but I have just revisited a C60 tape from 1975 entitled "new released soul". How good does this sound and the arrangement is not bad either. Oldie from a 45 or a LP - I would say album version on said tape. Label and price info anyone. Thanks in advance. .
Guest Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I have the album somewhere, sure it's not rare or expencive it's on "seville" UK LP if that helps
Guest Nick Harrison Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Thanks for that Ken - but is this a re issue uk album from the original, or can I only hear this via the Seville copies.
Mark B Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 nick the uk one wont have been much after the Us one mark
boba Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 "it's got to be now or never" was a big hit in chicago, maybe because it had more of a chicago sound than a philly sound. it's still an awesome record, you should check it out if you don't know it.
Rob1159 Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Nick, I have a copy of this album if you want it, I would say around 15 pounds, plus the cost of postage, not sure how much that would be from LA to the UK but I would just charge you what ever it actually was. Funny as I was just going through my albums this past weekend to make a list of what I have for sale and this was in there. More than happy to take a couple of pictures of the album and sleeve if your interested.. Cheers LA Rob
