Some relatively inexpensive soul...

The Toys - What's Wrong With Me Baby? (Virgo) EX++ - £10.00

(Only US 45rpm release of this great, otherwise album only version of the Invitations classic!)

Bill Moss - Sock It To 'Em Soul Brother (Bell) EX - £10.00

(Vinyl copy of genuine club classic - styrene turns up more often)

The Chambers Brothers - I Can't Stand It (Columbia) EX++ - £15.00 ON HOLD

(Sticker On Label, almost certainly removable with lighter fluid)

Bobby Patterson - I'm In Love With You (Jetstar Demo) M - £60.00

(Beautiful translucent 'Lucozade'-coloured vinyl. Record almost certainly unplayed!)

William Bell - Tryin' To Love Two (Mercury Demo) EX - £15.00

(Few light paper scuffs, plays beautifully)

B J Thomas - I Don't Have A Mind Of My Own (Pacemaker) EX+++ - £15.00

(Unplayed ex-store stock)

B J Thomas - I Don't Have A Mind Of My Own (Scepter Demo) VG+ - £10.00

(Paper scuffs on both sides, red X on both labels. Plays beter than VG+)

James Brown - Night Train (King) M - £10.00

(Gorgeous copy, probably never played!)

James Brown - And I Do Just What I Want (King Demo) EX++ - £15.00

(Mod classic with incredible version of 'The Bells' on the flip)

James Brown - Ain't That A Groove (King Demo) EX++ - £10.00

(Small 'library' sticker on each side, probably not removable with lighter fluid)

Barbara Carr - Messin' With My Mind (Bar Car) M - £10.00

(Unplayed ex-store stock. Nice alternative to Clarence Carter)

Reggie Garner - That Ain't The Way To Make Love/Half A Cup (ABC) EX - £40.00

(It's been on somebody's juke box at some point, and has 'juke' marks on both sides. Looking at the surface of the record and listening to it, I doubt if it ever got played more than once or twice, if that...)

Phillippe Wynne - You Ain't Going Anywhere But Gone (Sugar Hill) EX++ - £15.00

(Glorious Bunny Sigler-produced stomper, in the style of PW's uptempo hits with the Spinners. A record that's never received its fair share of attention but that surely will one day!)

The Mighty Chevelles - The Mighty Chevelles Are Back With A New Dance: The Bus Stop (Flaming Arrow) M - £15.00

(Unplayed ex-store stock. Old Mecca play as a new release, uptempo instrumental version of Gloria Walker's 'You Hit the Spot Baby')

Debbie S - Try My Love (Flaming Arrow) M -£25.00

(Unplayed ex-store stock)

Buddy Rich - The Beat Goes On (UK Blue Note Demo) M - £40.00

(Promo-only UK item for mod jazz classic, probably rarer than the US Blue Note 45! Has Bob Dorough's 'Three Is The Magic Number' on the flip).

...and a couple of R&B bits:

Billy Davis and the Legends - Spunky Onions (French Pop) EX - £15.00

(Manic R&B instrumental - on red vinyl! - much covered by European Surf bands. Nice doo-wop tribute to Jesse Belvin on flip. Crazy stuff!

Eddie Bo - I Love To Rock 'n' Roll (Ace) VG++ - £10.00

(One of Eddie's best early New Orleans R&B Treats - not rock 'n' roll at all. Seldom seen for much under £20-25 in this condition, so a bargain!)

Richard Berry - Louie Louie/Have Love Will Travel (UK Flip) M - £10.00

(Unplayed, 100% Legal UK promo reissue from about 10 years ago. Perfect for your jukebox!)

Postage to UK = £1.25 for first 45. Please add 25p per 45 for additional purchases. Will ship anywhere, overseas customers please PM me for postal quotes.

Payment = Cheque or PayPal ('As A Gift' - please PM me for PayPal address, if paying that way)

All records visually graded and, apart from the ex-store stock, audio graded too..

...fill your boots!
