If Kev has already got them you should dump them on a bonfire at the first opportunity and hope that the Crown Prosecution Service don't decide to take any action against you.

These will be items he has already down loaded to his "laptop" ATB Steve
Guest Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Dan, I think your right! Since I am new at this forum I was very surprised at the rudeness I found here just by asking a question. I'm afraid to say that it has actually become illegal to be in possession of records this bad. If Kev has already got them you should dump them on a bonfire at the first opportunity and hope that the Crown Prosecution Service don't decide to take any action against you. Stuart T I don't think that your Crown Prosecution Service is doing it's job very well if the following links are found https://eil.com/shop/artistlist.asp?artistname=marvin-gaye https://www.michael-jackson-trader.com/stor...ture-discs.html And I think you should read the history of Soul Music https://www.scaruffi.com/history/soul.html

If those are UK releases you'll find anything worth more than I think it's £12 for an album, in the Record Collector Price Guide.
Geordiejohnson Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Hey mudbone because your new you can be forgiven if you think the comments are rude, there not meant to be just some of the fellow soul sourcers having a lark. Your records are mainstream pop though and may not appeal to many on here as Dan pointed out, Im sure after a few weeks on here you'll warm to the kind snipes, warm slagging and general freindly bitter feeling and absolute jealousy the soul sourcers have for each other Geeooooordie

Soulsmith Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 At times like these I often look to The Simpsons for inspiration. The following line comes to mind: Leprechaun (to Ralph):"Aw, you've done grand, laddie! Now you know what you have to do: Burn the house down. Burn 'em all!" Hope I've been of some help. Col
Guest Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Pete-S no they are not UK releases but released in the USA when they were recorded in the 80's. Hey mudbone because your new you can be forgiven if you think the comments are rude, there not meant to be just some of the fellow soul sourcers having a lark. Geeooooordie I can't even believe that you wouldn't think that the comments made by Stuart-T weren't rude, but then I have to consider the age factor. It's true that I don't know what you all like here but as far as Soul Music is concerned I do know what is going on. Soul music was started with gospel and black music in America a long time before it hit the UK. I know that we live in two separate countries but I thought courtesy was world wide and I don't ask for forgiveness because I don't think that asking a question is a reason to ask for forgiveness. Collectors are world wide and if you have read the links that I posted above then you will know that what is hip in your country is old news in ours, that is why I listed some old records here. I didn't know that they might not appeal to some here, but that is still no reason to be rude. If anyone here considers rudeness as an answer......then I am sure that I am in the wrong place. I only join this site because it was called Soul Source. I have records that date back to the time when soul (black) music was considered to be taboo. The reason you have the title Soul Music is because of artists like Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, Wilson Pickett, The Temptations, Brooke Benton, Diana Washington, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Marvin Gaye (whom was a legend in his own time) and that is not just my point of view but Motown was started with some of the very singers I've mention above. Since I don't care to debate this issue any further and I have respect for other's point of view without being rude I will ask that we please end this right here. I do realize that some of you are very yound and rebelious, since I have already rasied my own children and taught them respect for others, I see no reasons to teach anyone here.
