£1600 worth of vinyl in 4 pieces in an attic in North Derbyshire - bad business or what!!!!

We finally got round to sifting through the load of old soul pack stuff we binned in me mams attic back in the late 70s and there were 3 Blue Jays there - two of em in bits. Hey oh....

Personally, I think ovenchips auction is wonderful, it's made me a fair wadge of cash in the last 18 months

I think Mr. M. - or would that be Mr. O. pushes up the bids if they're not doing much... Anyone else think it's abit dodgy how a record can be started at £200 with a bid increasement of £10 but somehow gets to £237?? Hmmm...

We will never know for sure if they are "dodgy" or not, you never will with any kind of auction, they can all be tampered with in one way or another if the desire to do so is there. What I do know though is that the end prices are real, shocking sometimes, but true. Some people are obviously willing and able to pay, and you can tamper all you like with an aucion, if no one is prepared to pay you still won't get a high end price.
