Not sure if these photos are known about. (Date given is February 1975)

Go to https://www.mirrorpix.com/ and search on Northern Soul or Wigan Casino.

im sure the times did a piece on the casino in the mag , but i was only thirteen at the time ,so not sure , tim o'keefe was in the pictures i seem to remember. i used to ask tim to buy me records and i would pay him with my milkround money that was around 75 ish......diddy

Think some of those pictures were used in a 75 edition of blues n soul for a piece on the second anniversary? does anybody recognise themselves in the background?

I know FAB 208...did an article and pictures on the Casino in 75 as well.....can always remember an image of a male dancer photographed doing a handstand..in the middle of the dancefloor :) ...Del...xxx

Sunday Times supplement. Still got my copy.

im sure the times did a piece on the casino in the mag , but i was only thirteen at the time ,so not sure , tim o'keefe was in the pictures i seem to remember. i used to ask tim to buy me records and i would pay him with my milkround money that was around 75 ish......diddy

I remember the Times correspondant was round for about a month at various venues. Not sure if I got it right, but was sure he was at Mecca with Ian Cunliffe for a couple of weeks.?

i can remember there being one about the canvey island 1940s thing as well

on mags/newspapers thing

has the bit later sun double page feature surfaced on internet yet ?

has any body got the sunday telegraph (i think ) supplement from about 73-74- ish from the casino (long shot i know but if you dont ask you dont get) main picture was southport lad john little and a lad called macca from formby (i think) think there was another lad on the photo but cant remember who he was,picture was taken in the record bar at the back... ......
