Blackpoolsoul
Elsie (Debonaires) has just told me the following about the girls backing Ed Crook "He had a recording studio in his basement and we recorded there. It was on the West side of Detroit but I don’t remember the street. He was so kind and showed his appreciation to us as we were so young as you can tell from our sound!! that’s all we remember about Edgar, nobody remembers the name of the street, just that it was on the West Side and we’re not positive about that, it was so long ago and Joyce Vincent’s mom took us there and she has passed away" Link to comment Social source share
Geeselad
Odd that it's his only record he sounds so confident in his delivery. Link to comment Social source share
