Has anyone else picked up her debut, 'Blues Ain't Nothing But A Good Woman Gone Bad' on Acid Jazz? Produced by Leonard Chess, she tears through his families back catalogue with great aplomb.

I'm loving it, her version of The Kittens "Ain't No More Room" is brilliant.

Not entirely Northern Soul by a long chalk, but well worth a listen.

IMHO

Saw the ad for M & Co on TV with Jasmine Kara singing 'Try my love again'..............love it, not heard the album yet, but like the title!

Not as good as the original for my money, but I've always had a soft spot for Terry Colliers cut anyway. Her version of 'Ain't No More Room' is a blinder, if a little carbon copy-ish (to say the least)

From what i've heard of Jasmine most of it is very good and uplifting too and the girl can sing her version of the the Terry Callier classic is the poorest track i've heard by her. Love her version of the Little Walter/ Mitty Collier classic My Babe.
