Guest little glyn Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Bought it as a new release back in '71 after hearing it on Tony Blackburns morning show on radio one just before I had to get off to school ah happy days could someone be kind enough to download this wonderful tune for someone like myself and others to enjoy again
paultp Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 I bought a copy of this in Hanway St, just off oxford street in the late 90's. I used to look through his "northern/motown" box now and then when in town but there was never anything much in it. This was one of those moments where you have to try and not shout out whilst your heart beat rises rapidly. It was marked up with the other sides title and priced at £5. :D I still keep it in the priced up sleeve - it has a very calming effect on this Yorkshireman. 1

Sunnysoul Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Surely the rarest form of this record is the 7" issue on New Zealand Tamla-Motown - the bright pink label series - from '71. Only had it twice in the last 25 years - kept one in my collection, sold the other 5 years ago for 250 quid. No Aussie issue of this either. Kris have you got one ?
John Benson Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Here's a scan of the NZ issue - not mine though, I just have a UK copy.
Guest benny-beep-bop Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 (edited) It strange I've just bought that exact record on the nz Motown label when I say exact I mean same labels same marks everything identical! I believe that's a scan of my copy where did you find the scan? Edited February 14, 2012 by benny-beep-bop
