Wish I could afford it, way out of my league by a couple of zeros at least. Aid.
Chalky Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 been a fair few demo's on the bay. Issue seems to be harder. It's not $2.5k are either, plenty for sale over the years. 1
Lenny Harkins Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Totally agree Chalkie, plenty for sale over the years....This ones nice nick...still $500 on the pricey side at least. still a crackin tune tho
MrsWoodsrules Posted October 23, 2011 Author Posted October 23, 2011 Yeah, think your right Chalky, just looking a Popsike and they all seem to be demos, my (very old) Manships only lists for an issue. Been going for an average of $2000ish or below, so he's deffo starting too high. Still love to own that record though don't think I'd pay that, even if I had it spare. Aid.
Guest Bearsy Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 seen them sold for between 1k and 1.5k over the last few years depending on condition so if it was mint then £1.5k top wack imho not over rare but always in demand and tough to find at the right price
Guest Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Would'nt say its the rarest but always a big play I dont enjoy it played out as much in East Angia as i did a few copys around now - mick smith had an issue for sale for sometime on ebay dont think it was great condition but the issue is very hard to track down

Garswood Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 cracking tunage, think the issues turn up with two different coloured labels, blue and the rarer brown or may be the other way round, could have picked a demo up last year for £900, then the clutch went on my alfa gt, which was a similar price, gutted, cos its been one of my all time wants for years...phil
Guest smudgesmith Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Pretty sure Andy Smith (smudgesmith on here) has an issue, sure he will verify one way or the other if/when he sees this, Youve been looking Cakey X!
Markw Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Issues are much much harder than demos, though I wasn't aware there was a brown label as well as a blue one. The demo currently on Ebay has been reduced I think from a previous listing with a start asking bid of USD2999. Crikey!!
MrsWoodsrules Posted October 24, 2011 Author Posted October 24, 2011 hey Aid its been on ebay for weeks, and been reduced. Hey Bahaar, This record wouldn't be out of place in your box mate, ever owned one?. Did you go to the Parr Hall Saturday? Bet the handbag dancers were out in full force, the music was cr*p last time. I'll see you at Lowton in December, Manship guest at next Northern line.
