SAM & DAVE HAD 6 RECORDS RELEASED ON ROULETTE ( + ONE OTHER LATER RELEASE OF TWO SIDES FROM THESE 6 )

THIS LP IS OF THOSE 6 RELEASE'S,

PROBABLY RELEASED TO CASH IN AS SAM & DAVE WERE GETTING FAMOUS ON STAX / ATLANTIC RECORDS,

NOT SURE WHY IT WAS RELEASED ON THE UK KING LABLE WHICH WAS OWNED BY THE R&B LABLE,

PROBABLY NONE OF THE BIG UK LABLES WANTED IT ??. BUT I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE,

will try but wont be able to until next week-end, cover is photo of sam+dave in lounge suits, cover just states sam and dave in bold writing and small notice stating tracks licensed from roullette records, back all writing track listing, history etc, couple of adverts (you might also like)for this irish crooner(as said in opening like chalk and cheese)

I've a mint copy of this......but with no sleeve.Anybody got a knackered copy with an ok sleeve.

Also came out in Argentina with the same cover - can't remember if the label was King though (probably Music Hall)
