Along with " lights out".... I would also like decks there ..... Or at least a cd recording off original vinyl please.... In death we can still have standards

Pete S Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 I love this thread each time it comes round. (Sorry been done many times before). Answer as always, the best record ever recorded ... What, I Saw The Light by Todd Rundgren?
Simsy Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 No. Though that's a hauntingly good record. I cary grant you.

Guest soul elite Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 More importantly who gets the record collection when we've gone? Needless to say I don't have any but Hubby has some amazing tracks. X
Guest soul elite Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Ps Sorry to digress. I have also told Hubby that along with dancing on his ashes I'm going to take my all time favourite track (Gimme Some Lovin -The Deltones) out of his collection and with a silver/gold pen write KATRINA'S on the middle of it..... sn***** X

Matt Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 It will be predictable for me with 'Time will pass you by' Tobi Legend. Away from Northern Soul I heard a story on Radio 4 when I guy arranged for the conveyer belt to stop on the way through to being burnt, everybody at the funeral gulped and then the 'Hamlet' tune played! total quality!!! 2
Soulman Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 With a bit of luck they would have the wake before the funeral and then play the Subway Riders "After The Session" when I go through the flame grill. Steve
Ernie Andrews Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 3 for me Craig Douglas- Dont mind if I cry (Northern record) Todd Rundgren - Fade away (Or the Mummers version will do fine : ) It Bites - Old man & the angel ( Heard them play it live last week - Superb)
MrsWoodsrules Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Got to say, I've always had this vision. End of ceremony, wooden box moves in for the burn, then............. Looney Tunes theme kicks in....da da da da, da da da da, da da, da da, da da da daaaaaaa!!!! Curtain shuts,.....THAT'S ALL FOLKS!. Way to go. Aid. 1
