Hi Guys

www.topdogrecords.co.uk

Here's the deal, on offer is the un-released Bell Sound Acetate of Herman Hitson - Why not me/Show some sign. No master tapes for these tracks remain, as far as Herman knows. I purchased this acetate directly from Herman 10 years ago. I would suggest that anyone buying this get a carver cut to play, so preserving the original.

Condition... This is in VG condition, a liitle back ground noise and the lacquer is lifting in a couple of places on the run in on 'Why not me', but the play grooves are all intact. 'Show some sign' is not as good VG-, with 8 tiny silver spots showing through on the play area, so it does have a slight skip near the intro, but otherwise plays through no skips.

Sound file with both sides is on my site, anyone intersted contact me to discuss further, but I am looking for around £1200 for this.

Those that have heard this out will testify to this being one of his greatest records, his killer soulful vocals, great guitar work, a legendary crossover masterpiece.

Below is the Youtube video I put up od 'Why not me'

In reply to a few who asked, yes the acetate is very playable out, but I suggested getting a carver cut, just to preserve the original. This is a slice of soul music history.
