Glynthornhill Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Up for grabs the obscure Florida 45 on Les - Stan 7 day auction https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360397599077#ht_500wt_1054 Check the other ' northern soul ' related 45 s in store.
Glynthornhill Posted October 11, 2011 Author Posted October 11, 2011 Think someone got a bargain at £47. Agreed Chalky thought it would have reached the three figure sum - suppose it ' s a fact of the time / economics / etc etc...
Chalky Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Agreed Chalky thought it would have reached the three figure sum - suppose it ' s a fact of the time / economics / etc etc... For a record that you rarely see I was surprised at the price. Excellent record and well worthy of more spins. It's in my playbox and does get played.
Tony Foster Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Sold one a while back for around the £40 mark
Platters 81 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Classic Stafford......an allnighter sound of quality........was it Guy who played this first..?....i snaffled mine soon after...i remember mint copies turned up at the time (85/86)........is Les-Stan a Texas label..?..Paul Kelly involvement...i suspect that the copies which turn up now are mostly out of collections.......unlike you to sell too cheap Tony.....
