davidwapples Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 hi just got this months record collector magazine , in there is a kiki dee discography and valuation for some of the stuff , it lists on a maginc carpet ride 45 on fontana for £65 we all know that this seems to make well in excess of £100 up to around £150 ish every time it is for sale on lists auctions etc so what is the correct value and why is there such a great difference in the selling value and the price guide value is it because record collector is under pricing stuff but as they have been the main magazine for the last 20 odd years i thought they may have a good idea of stuffs value , or is it that the 45 is more valued to soul collectors than uk 60s collectors. scanning popsike for ebay results it seems it has sold for between 80 and just over 200 pounds , is this a case of people being prepared to pay more than its worth ot get a copy
