Amsterdam Russ
Can anyone help in identifying this instrumental track? Possibly it's the backing track to something, but if so, what? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2eK66HtxZw Link to comment Social source share
Ady Croasdell
Sounds like some of the Flomar demos, defo NYC quite possibly not a soul track. That piano hook sounds like I've heard it. Interesting, I'll ask my co-workers. Link to comment Social source share
Tony A
Something the Everley Brothers did, Link to comment Social source share

There is an instrumental on the flip as well, which is a bit sparser than this one you hear here. Link to comment Social source share

Amsterdam Russ
Here you go. It's a rather plodding tune. I've always imagined it to have an association with Eeyore or perhaps Don Quixote's donkey... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sonSotqI-I 1 Link to comment Social source share
Ady Croasdell
The guitarist sounds familiar, no wiser though Soz Link to comment Social source share
KevH
Sounds like a Bacharach riff in there. Link to comment Social source share
Amsterdam Russ
Well, it's a shame that the tracks couldn't be identified. They aren't the first to remain anonymous on here and they certainly won't be the last. Maybe someone will eventually recognise one or both of the recordings and be able to put a name, face, title or label to them, especially as they're freely accessible through YouTube. I'd much rather they were 'claimed' than sit anonymously and unacknowledged in a dusty record box... Middleman
When the night has come, and the moon is dark, and the moon is the only light i see"............. Bit slightly faster Nice though Link to comment Social source share
Robbk
It sounds very "girls groupy" to me-NOT Everly Bros. (overall). But NOT Scepter-Wand, and DEFINITELY not Bachrach-David. It does sounds like NY arranger and session players. Link to comment Social source share
