Does anyone know if there's a straightforward way to remove those old metal 45 snap-in adapters that you find in 45s sometimes? obviously without breaking the inner vinyl. thanks in advance,.

Cheers for that, mshoals

looks a tough little b*****d to remove. :D

With a dremmel or similar type of minature cutting disc, you could start from the centre hole, working towards the edge of the larger hole but not right upto the edge, do this straight across it will weaken the adaptor, then push out.

Can be done by gently flexing the centre hole until the first two grps on either side of each other are released from the centre hole, then flex other sides gently. Not recommended on styrene though - best left in place rather than risk snapping the record.
