Nice tune that got issued twice on Dore. First issue is 764 from 1966 and has "Better Get Your Own One Buddy" on the flip. Then 771 from same year as flip to 'Go For What You Know'.

I guess that later issue is much more desirable as 'Go For What You Know' is terrific, but what does the earlier issue go for - and does 'The Wind Is Blowing' ever get played in its own right?

George Mahood gave it a spin at Prestatyn in Redemption.Sounded good to me,if a little dated.Soundclip of other side Godz?...or did he play the other side?...ignore me for a moment Godz. :lol:

"wind " played regularly all over for years.........iv had both issues and a test press , all gone now, but great tunes...... i reckon, ........value ??? " go for " release was more i think cos of the 2 sides but hard to get more than a ton for either at the mo i would guess , regards ez........back to bloody grass cutting for me :(

I didn't play that record in the soundclip above... The one I play is a totally different (70's) record.

Thats why i edited.Played the soundclip,and thought,maybe that's not the one.
