Guest Andy Kempster Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 what is a fair price for this these days, popsike seems to be all over the show
Northern Soul Uk Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 US about £120 and UK about £85ish. IMO
pikeys dog Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 £100 US. £35 tops UK. The UK copy is a seventies issue to meet 'Northern' demand and sold extremely well - real world price should be £10, but it regularly hits £30+ on eBay.
Guest garysoul82 Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 How much does a WB british demo go for.

Guest giant Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 what is a fair price for this these days, popsike seems to be all over the show sold 2 US stock copies in m- condition for £165.00 each recently , i would say stock copies £180 and us promo's £150.00
Sjclement Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 S'funny dat US stock = more than demo UK stock= less than demo I was looking for a copy on ebay over the last couple of weeks 3 went through at £50+ (now sorted)
Iancsloft Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Easy one to answer there are more US demo,s about than green stock copies.. UK copies where done as stated to satisfy its popularity amongst the Northern Soulies and it sold quite well at the time it was released thus being a lot more stock copies about uk companys dont give out any where near the amount of promos their US conterparts do as far has i am aware
Northern Soul Uk Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Well I wish I could have found one over the last couple of years of looking for less than £50, every one I've seen go through the bay hits way above that UK or US. There's a UK on there now for £40 start I'll see what that ends at. I'm broke at the mo' so not bothered about making you lot aware of it.

Davetay Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 i always thought the u.s. demos harder too find than issue No issue copies are harder, when I was selling records every week back in the 70s. I only had one issue go though my hands, but maybe 20 demos.

grouse Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 (edited) Many years ago Pat Brady had an issue on his paper list, (can't remember how much). I phoned for it but I'd just missed out, so I bought something else. About 3 months later out of the blue a mint issue arrives through my door. I phoned Pat and he said that he remembered that I'd wanted it. I've still got it and wouldn't sell it for any amount Edited September 22, 2011 by grouse
