Been looking forward to this for so very long ,one of my favourites ,great venue ,floor ,people........

However ,yesterday - This is only one day out of so many I atteneded and remember when you read this I built myself up,its my favourite place to go - Missed it and was expecting HEAVEN IN THE AFTERNOON .

ONLY MY OPINION now

Was left so disappointed in the "Heaven in the middle of the afternoon " went disco/jazz funk for a little bit longer than I was expecting .( Purgatory - half way there ! )

While I appreciate that you need to please the majority - Trading standards should have been called in ......Northern soul it was not ( For a while )

My only other comment(s) in what was still a GREAT DAY .....

If the dancefloor is completley empty when a track is playing - Is there any need to continue playing it till its finished .. ? Change it - I came to dance - I need the excercise .

This is one of the BEST venues on the scene at the minute and I will be first in the Q for the next one-

So see you there for some NORTHERN SOUL tunes

hi there Ninja,as you say only your opinion ,thanks for positive feedback ,as for the negative ,we have always billed this event as ACROSS the board soul music and try to have on d.j.s that reflect this policy, I.E.Ginger(northern+)Eddy(Across the board) Plumby(modern+) Des (northern/70,s+) e.t.c./e.t.c. We have never

and will never tell our d.j.s what to play we leave it to them. There are times at most venues when the dancefloor is empty some d.j.s pull the record some dont.!!
