Pete S Posted August 25, 2011 Author Posted August 25, 2011 It's up there with 'Esperanto'! :D No it's up there with Exus Trek, Frantic Escape, Afternoon Of The Rhino and the other great instrumentals. Esperanto is up there with Cartoon Candy Carnival.

Dobber Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 i agree, that is a great vocal over the top of a great tune!,she's done a good job of that.does the peter hamilton 45 have a vocal on the back...is it any good?

Guest MrC Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Yes it does,,and no, it's rubbish. Concise, to the point, and very true!

Yes the vocal side is awful but what I didn't realise was that Ian more or less copied it identically to make This Time I'm Loving You, I thought previously he'd done it all himself but it was a pretty big steal, which knocked it down a little in my estimation. I still think it's a brilliant record though, it comes on with a real energy "whoooosh"! if you know what I mean.
Dobber Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 i think its a good intrumental, although it does sound like a song with the singing missing,i personally prefer instrumentals that never or were never meant to have a vocal...ie...mike vickers-on the brink!
