MORE CLASSIC ORIGINALS FOR SALE

INTERESTING SELECTION TODAY FOLKS, SOME OF THESE I DON’T EVEN KNOW MYSELF

THE REMARKABLES WITH FRANK WILSON – IS THE FEELING STILL THERE – AUDIO ART DEMO EX- 50

This is a very odd copy, label is Audio Art instead of Arts, it’s a white demo and looks to be East Coast rather than West Coast. Put this on Soul Source and very few people had seen one like this.

VINNY ADAMS – LISTEN HEART – HOLTON EX 25

Anyone know this? Nice midtempo builder.

THE PENTAGONS – UNTIL THEN – JAMIE DEMO EX 25

LINDA RAE – I DON’T SEE MY BABY – MEADOWBROOK EX+ 50 SOLD

Big production female dancer, says “The Detroit Sound” on the label but sounds more like the Wall of Sound

SOUL TEASERS – ON A HOT SUMMER DAY IN THE BIG CITY – JOKER VG+ 50

Scarce version, small writing on label and one or two minor clicks but no problems, not had this before

FAY SIMMONS – IF THIS IS GOODBYE – TUFFY EX 20

Sounds like it was recorded in a bathroom while the singer’s leg was being forced into a food blender

SANDY & THE PEBBLES – HE’S MY KIND OF FELLOW – MERCURY EX 30

Would have been mint but for a couple of clicks on the fade out

TAJ MAHAL – A LOT OF LOVE – COLUMBIA EX 30 SOLD

JENNY & THE JEWELS – LOVE IS LIKE AN ITCHING IN MY HEART – HIT EX 20

Belting version, old Casino monster

DOBIE GRAY – HONEY YOU CAN’T TAKE IT BACK – WHITE WHALE DEMO VG+ 30 SOLD

Scruffy due to never having had a sleeve in it’s life but apart from a little crackle on the intro, plays absolutely fine

Doo-wop styled dancer

BIG DEE IRWIN – YOU SATISFY MY NEEDS – ROTATE DEMO EX 75

Nice white demo. Little writing on label

FAY SIMMONS – IF THIS IS GOODBYE – TUFFY EX 20

Bit harsh I think, Another way to describe this would be nice, atmospheric, early midtempo. I really like it and bought a copy just a few months ago.

Records arrived next day, well packed, and in great condition as always. Another 1st class shopping experience at the Asda of Northern Soul!

Cheers Pete
