I Think it's the same track as the Reggie Garner/Reginald 45/12",on Out-Let.

Hi Bob..............I had a feeling that they maybe, anymore info and did they have anymore records out ?? By the way great spot you do (sitting in the park ) love some of the ballads .

Thanks for your nice comments. The A-1 group is probably from Philadelphia, maybe New Jersey, I have a random photo of them somewhere but no info. The listening post record is definitely New Orleans. Also, the listening post record is '78 and the A-1 record is early 70s so they're probably also unrelated.

in my experience the listening post record is harder to find, i've only seen it a few times and recently got a beat up copy on ebay.

by the way the guy I baught my copy from insisted, that the 'listening Post'-group is from texas, the label and production is definitely Nola though

I think that too. I also listened to them side by side and couldn't tell the difference. But I'm sure a knowledgeable person will be able to tell us of any differences. I got the Reginald release I think about 1990, was this when that version was released?
