Dean Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 (edited) More info wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Gates . . . . . also found a good link but unable to copy/paste for some reason: Bilboard 16 Jan 1965 Vol 77 Number 3 on page 26 breaks the news of Gates signing a young 13 year old Margaret Mandolph to Planetary. Google "planetary records david gates" and it will come up on the first page. Just an interesting bit of history I thought. Hope it's of some use. Edited August 16, 2011 by Dean
Dean Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 A little bit of digging and found these - 104 - Grady & Brady - Love or Money / Just a Lot of Talk 107 - Grady & Brady - Sad September / Star of the Show Don't know them, not sure if Grady or Brady were David Gates? Anyway that completes the Planetary list I think.

Andy Rix Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 (edited) Margaret was apparently the sister of Bobby, who recorded for Vault. Nick Brown was contacted a few years ago by her daughter who saw her name listed in one of his DJ sets I'm fairly certain she is no longer with us Andy Edited August 17, 2011 by AndyRix
